Zenith have forever been known as a company who know how to put together a mean movement. Their El Primero Chronograph is possibly the most famous movement ever made, used in hundreds of different watches over the years by brands such as Rolex and TAG Heuer to name just a couple. In recent years Zenith have once again become a maker of great watches as well as sensational movements with their Captain, El Primero and just announced Pilot range of watches.
On the more sporty side they have had some cracking watches in recent times, among them this Defy Classic, featuring a large 46.5mm case, sensational dial, screw down crown and pushers, unidirectional rotating bezel, 300m water resistance and of course the aforementioned legendary El Primero chronograph movement.
Originally retailing at over AU$10,000 we think it was worth every cent, at less than half price for a near new piece it is a bargain.
